June 26, 1953: Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell writing their names in the cement outside the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.
As a child, Marilyn had often tried to place her hands and feet in the hand prints and foot prints of the previous movies stars who have left their place outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Movie stars like Jean Harlow who was one of Marilyn’s favourite actress’. “I could never find my size foot, they were always too big”, Marilyn once said.
